Information for Future Students

If you are considering studying at Flinders University then the links below will take you to information that may assist in making your decision:

During the University's Orientation Week ('O' week) the Faculty ran a number of information & orientation sessions for new students. These sessions were digitally captured and are available on our web site. It is hoped that they may be of use to current students, as well as prospective students who may be considering mid-year entry. Links to the videos can be found on our O week page.

The South Australian Tertiary Admission Centre (SATAC) receives and processes applications for all undergraduate, professional, graduate and postgraduate courses.

Admission to all courses is limited by quota and normally based on academic merit as determined by an assessment of an applicant's qualifications. Where students have completed SACE, the Tertiary Entrance Rank (TER) normally is used. See the University's School Results Guide and TER cut-off scores.

In considering this information please note that effective for 2006/7 entry onwards, Science and Mathematics Bonus points will be allocated to students studying selected Science and Mathematics subjects in Year 12 who apply for entry to a Science and Engineering degree at Flinders.

New in 2009 - Inspiring Engineering

Flinders University is taking a fresh approach to the engineering courses it is planning to offer from 2009 onwards.

Building on our strong tradition of teaching and research in engineering, the planned courses are designed to meet current and future industry employment needs.
