Research

It has been found that nest predation is one of the main causes of reproductive failure in birds. I will be looking at New Holland Honeyeaters, Phylidonyris novaehollandiae, within the Mount Lofty Ranges, and carrying out Artificial Nest Experiments to study the effect of rodents on the predation of the nests. Locations: Scott Creek Conservation Park, and Cox Conservation Park.
