Research

My primary research interests are the ecology and evolution of reproductive patterns among marine invertebrates. My research integrates molecular, physiological, engineering, and ecological techniques across scales of biological organization to address questions of both applied and academic interest.

My current research activities can be summarized under three headings:
  • Reproduction and development of marine invertebrates
  • Invasive species
  • Functional ecology and biomechanics
