Support for Visiting Scientists
As part of our efforts to maintain an active and
diverse research program we strongly encourage applications from
suitably qualified scientists to spend periods of study leave at LMSC.
If you feel that your research could benefit from the facilities and
easy site access that LMSC offers and/or the diverse fauna and flora
of South Australia (an unusually high proportion of which is endemic)
we would like to hear from you. At the present time we are unable to
offer financial assistance for travel or subsistence, but we do award
grants under most circumstances to cover the cost of bench fees.
Visitors who have interests in common with particular staff members
within the Marine Biology and Aquaculture group, or elsewhere in the
University, are encouraged to contact that person in the first
instance.
